Editor Rose Folsom has chosen lettering art that runs the gamut from stately and classically drawn letters to those freely written, complete with ink splats; from dense, textural pieces to light and airy compositions; varied in their approaches, but all showing a mastery of pen and brush. From approximately 600 entries, Rose chose over 150 superb and varied works from 15 countries. In black & white, all present the essentials of the calligraphic line and word.
