a lot of small spaces, so a knife to cut down a larger eraser into
smaller pieces will be helpful); pencil (HB); artist's sketch paper (not
printer or photocopier paper), and a notebook and a compass (or
a circle template). OPTIONAL: Watercolors; Pigma or Staedtler
pigmented pens (.3, .5 and .7 are handy tip sizes); pearlescent or
metallic inks/acrylics; brush tip felt pens; colored pencils; watersoluble
colored pencils; other papers or boards, colored or white.
MATERIALS FEE: $20 [for gilding supplies kit].

These are great. These colors flow out of a broad edge pen like ink. 1oz glass bottles with dropper top. Colors can be mixed. Truly waterproof when dry. The manufacturer says they are lightfast. The set of 12 colors comes with a 12-pan mixing palette, 12-bottle holder, & a small cup for water. For individual colors, specify color. The sets are one of each
color. Copperplate Gold is the most popular color (Copperplate Gold is listed here as "Gold").
Use rubbing alcohol to thin for better flow in your pens.
