Basic Tool Kit; tracing paper; Mitchell Rexel pens sizes 3 and 4.
B8. Dimensional Calligraphy -- Supplies
NEED TO BRING: Basic supply kit listed above; rubber mat or old telephone book; stylus (double ended wooden or plastic handle); bone folder; wax paper; paper for embossing and paper cutting (e.g., Rives BFK, Arches Text, handmade papers); pad of bristol board (inexpensive—for cutting stencils).
OPTIONAL: The instructor will have some of these available for use: soft pastels; pastel brushes; colored pencils; acrylic mat medium or acrylic varnish. Helpful: light box (table) or a slant board made of Plexiglas which can be used with a light source (some will be available for use).
MATERIALS FEE: $10.
