Basic Tool Kit; favorite words and texts; Speedball nibs C0, C1, B0, B2, B3; copperplate pen points (e.g., Rexel); broad nibs (Mitchell, Rexel or Brause) for smaller writing; red, yellow and blue) gouache/watercolor (Winsor Newton, Turner, Holbein or Schmincke).

OPTIONAL: Bone folder, large cutting mat.

NEED TO BRING: Basic Tool Kit; supplies listed above; an oriental brush; a small pointed brush (#1); any other brushes you use; 8 sheets of Arches Velin (text wove, 20"x12"—halves of four 20"x26"sheets); one sheet black Canson; a cover paper of your choice (24"x18"); a selection of Prismacolor colored pencils (12–15 or more); scrap paper for gluing; tweezers; small cutting mat; white mat board (8"x10").

OPTIONAL: Watercolor pencils, reed, music pen, ruling pen, any wide pens e.g., ½–5.8" (Coit or Automatic).
