Ink/Paint: Favorite ink; color acrylics if you have them, Ex. "Magic Color"; gouache if you have them.
Paper: Layout paper; few sheets tracing paper; some half sheets of good quality 90# cold press and rough watercolor paper; OK to cut into quarters; sheet of black Canson Mi-teintes 8 1/2x11" or larger.
Misc..: masking tape.
Optional: Small portable light box if traveling by car.

American calligraphy nibs for Italic, Blackletter (Gothic, Old English), Uncial, Half Uncial, Foundational and many other hands or alphabets. C-0, C-1, C-2, C-3, C-4, C-5, C-6. C-0 is largest, C-6 is smallest. Best in larger sizes. C-2, C-3, & C-4 are popular for beginners’ classes. They rust easily so let them dry thoroughly before storing them away.
