For those interested in decorated envelopes, here is a wide ranging collection of 200 illustrated envelopes, postcards or packages, all actually mailed, and all reproduced in full color. The contributors are professionals and amateurs, young and old, and from all the continents but one. There is everything here: birds/cats/flowers, graphic novel, doodle, line illustration, cartoon and more. None of envelopes are calligraphic.

This showcase features the best results from the Mail Me Art challenge, an online decorated envelope/package project. Di Lieto reproduces 200 of the best pieces and includes interviews with 17 of the contributing artists.

When Gill left Ditchling for Wales in 1924, Joe Cribb continued the Ditchling workshop and Gill continued to use Cribb for commissions. Cribb worked at Dichling into the 1960’s.
