Ink/Paint: McCaffery's Penman's Black Ink (I37) recom¬mended, Moon Palace (I70), Old World Iron Gall Ink (I116), or your favorite practice ink; Dr Ph Martin's Bleedproof White 1 oz. jar (I38). Suggested color supplies: Yasutomo pearl-escent watercolor set (S626) and small brush, or several colors of Prismacolor artist grade colored pencils (S524, S525, S526) Derwent Colour¬soft pencils, Dr. Ph Martin's Spectralite 1 oz. size (I27) 14 carat gold is my favorite, Sakura Stardust gelly roll pen (M63). Tools/Misc: 2 small water jars, newspaper to act as cushion sheet, inexpensive brushes for mixing (BR37), pencil, soft vinyl eraser (S136), Factis black eraser (E08), ruler (S270, S271), pencil sharpener, a few paper towels or tissues for pen wipes, flexible curve, paper scissors or small paper trimmer. Practice Paper: Any good quality ink jet computer paper such as Xerox, Hammermill or Kodak Ultimate pa¬per. Bond paper or layout paper will also work. Art Paper: Your favorite cardstock or smooth paper in any color. If you want to work on black, my suggestion is Canson Mi-Tientes (PS61) or Strathmore Artagain. My favorite colored papers are Clairefontaine Maya. Optional: Any other favorite ways of applying color to your lettering such as: Finetec Mica Artist Color Set (S741), watercolor pencil, gouache, acrylic inks, pastel pencil, Derwent Metallic Pencils, Twinkling H2O's or hot foil pen.
