Materials List:
• McCaffery's Ink in black: One bottle is fine. It lasts quite a while. I37
• Nikko G nibs: 5 nibs would be fine N113
• Oblique pen holder we recommend starting with our oblique one for $13.95, nice quality, fitted for the Nikko. (H96) We have several other more deluxe models available, they are listed towards the end of the list below. (H95, H61, H50)
• practice paper ( I use Hammermill Color Copy Digital 28lb., 100 brightness in my studio. You may use Borden & Riley layout paper if you have it) We have this paper available in 100 sheet pads, list below as P25.
• mechanical pencil in pt. 3 or pt. 5 with plenty of lead. Sumo Grip pencil with 0.5mm lead, S681
• 2 colored pencils with sharp points - the color does't matter. Verithin brand has a stronger lead than most (and keeps a sharper point), S818.
• tracing paper for flourishing. Borden Riley 9"x12" pad, P43.
• 12" ruler ( I use the 2" wide C-thru rulers with the graph lines. They come in very handy.) We stock the exact ruler she wants, S798.
• blotter paper that is appx. 12" x 18" <- ours is 11x17", Harvest says 2 sheets of 11 x 17 will work, S261-11.
• Viva papertowels if possible These are readily available in the USA. For those that are not able to acquire them, we are offering a roll, S817. Harvest says: They don't leave fuzz on the pen points or brushes.
• inexpensive glass cleaner that contains either ammonia or vinegar. This item is not available from JNB.
• A 3-ring binder or folder for all of the handouts that will be downloaded. This item is not available from JNB.
Helpful to have, but not necessary:
Good lighting. I use an Ott light so that my eyes do not tire as quickly
A place where you can leave your material set up throughout the class
