Because it has a twist-fill mechanism built into the pen, you can fill this brush pen with bottled fountain pen ink. Try any of the Noodler’s colors or other bottled ink for fountain pens. When the ink runs out, just refill from the bottle. To change colors, rinse pen with water (going from black to colors is not recommended). The synthetic brush is fine-tipped, responsive, and has a good ink flow.
This new cartridge pen has a free-flowing and smooth-writing chisel nib. Matte black, softly textured plastic body with smooth, weighted metal grip. 1.1mm nib. A second cartridge can be stored in the barrel, and the narrow end unscrews for easy access to it. Comes in a metal tin with one cartridge.
For more cartridges, see Manuscript cartridges (FP91) or Pelikan cartridges (FP115).
FP120. Noodler's Standard Flex Pen Noodler's Standard Flex Pen. This flexible nib fountain pen produces reasonable thicks and thins from pressure. Use it for larger writing and expressive handwriting. It is not suitable for smaller Ornamental Scripts because the nib can't produce the fine hairlines possible with dip pen pointed nibs. For a fatter barrel, purchase the FP125. Noodler’s Ahab Flex Pen. The same flex nib is used in the Standard and Ahab Fountain Pens.
Choose Barrel Color:
Clear - Our most popular "color," which makes it easy to see how much ink is left in the pen.
For filling the pen with ink from a bottle, the Standard Flex Pens have a twist-fill piston mechanism that is part of the barrel.
This is a fun pen to write with and has an extremely flexible nib - for a fountain pen. You can easily go from thin to thick and back, but the unstressed stroke is far from a hairline. (An extremely light touch and some speed can produce a thinner line.) It would be useless for small copperplate scripts. The pen is useless for small copperplate scripts. You can produce copperplate scripts only in larger sizes. You can only produce monoline or nearly monoline writing in smaller sizes. It has potential for wedding invitation addressing where the script is more-or-less monoline perhaps with some more heavily stressed strokes (such as Spencerian). - John
FP118. Pilot Plumix Fountain Pen Pilot Plumix Fountain (Cartridge) Pen.
A new calligraphy pen. Tip is between .75mm & 1mm (similar in size to the Manuscript Fine or the Pentel Italic 0.8 Marker). It's not billed as a calligraphy pen, but that's what it is. There is no ball on the bottom of the nib, so you get thicks and thins. Barrel is translucent with a clear grip area, so it is easy to see when you are low on ink.
Choose barrel color: Black (Dark Grey), Purple, Light Blue. Each pen includes one black cartridge. For refill cartridges, use Pilot Parallel Pen Cartridges. (see item FP69)

These calligraphy fountain pens from Germany have more
class than the rest. Your calligraphy friends won’t expect to
see your calligraphic letters flowing from these. And they
are a joy to use. They are designed for both function and
form. The writing end has two facets that fit your fingers. All have a window to check for low ink level. The ink flows well. The clear one is my favorite with its see-through design and chrome accents. I love having a modern
Bauhaus design to create renaissance and medieval letters! The satin gray is more formal. The black long-staff pen
comes with red accents.
