We are a small company with few employees, but we pride ourselves on our prompt shipment of orders. Most orders are sent out within 2-3 business days, allowing time for processing, packaging and shipment. US ORDERS Shipping Charges Our domestic shipping charges are based on the overall total cost of the items ordered. Delivery time depends on the way the order is shipped and your location. See the information below for charges and delivery times specific to your needs. Shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico --Orders of books, DVDs, and magazines ONLY will ship via Media Mail at the regular rates posted above. --Lighter orders of nibs, holders, and other small items will ship in either a Medium Flat Rate Priority Mail Box ($11.95) or a Large Flat Rate Priority Mail Box ($14.95). --Larger orders will be packed, weighed, and then we will calculate the postage costs. We will then contact you so that you can approve the postage costs before we charge your card. |

Delivery Time Orders shipped within the continental USA normally take 1-2 weeks to arrive. However, your order could take up to 3-5 weeks to arrive, depending on the availability of items ordered and the shipping method used. If your order consists of only books, magazines, CDs, videos and/or calendars it will be sent via USPS Media Mail. Our experience is that small Media Mail packages often arrive almost as fast as First Class mail. However, Media Mail packages can take up to two weeks, perhaps more to the West Coast. If your order needs to arrive sooner, LET US KNOW, and we will use other shipping methods such as UPS Ground or USPS First Class/Priority Mail. |

PAPER SHIPPING Sheets of paper must be shipped separately from books and supplies. (Only large orders are shipped flat.) If you order books/supplies and sheets of paper together, you must pay shipping on the book/supply total and on the total of the sheets of paper. For example, if you order 3 books totaling $49.95 and 20 sheets of paper totaling $33.00, add $7.95 shipping for the books and $7.95 for the paper. (Pads of paper, paper sample booklets, blank greeting cards ship with books and supplies.) The shipping costs displayed during checkout DO NOT INCLUDE the extra costs for paper shipping. We will adjust your shipping costs before we charge your credit card. Domestic Paper Shipping Charges: Add $7.50 for orders to $30 $7.95 for orders to $40 $8.50 for orders to $50 $8.95 for orders to $60 $9.50 for orders to $70 $9.95 for orders to $80 $10.50 for orders to $105 Larger orders add 10%. Foreign Paper Shipping Charges: Paper shipped to foreign countries will be sent in a tube via Airmail. Costs start at about $15 (costs are less for Canada). Postal regulations and procedures often make very large shipments of sheets of paper to other foreign countries impractical. |

FOREIGN ORDERS Charges The shipping charges shown during checkout are FOR USA ADDRESSES ONLY. We will weigh your package and adjust your shipping costs before we charge your credit card. Our foreign shipping charges are based on the weight of the package and the cost of shipping to the destination country. Please fax or e-mail your order and request the cost of shipping and we will provide your shipping options. If you place your order online and would like to request a certain shipping option or to be contacted with your choices, please indicate this in the “Special Instructions” field during checkout. If you do not indicate that you want either a particular shipping method or to be contacted with your shipping options, your order will be sent using the least expensive method. Insurance We generally will determine if a package needs to be insured. If we give you shipping rates for insured and uninsured, we recommend you purchase insurance. If you decline to purchase insurance and the package is lost or damaged, we will NOT be responsible for replacing your items or refunding for goods or shipping costs. Delivery Time The US Postal Service offers only Airmail. (Surface mail was discontinued in May 2007). Airmail generally takes 2-3 weeks depending on destination. Fastest to Canada and the UK. |

RUSH ORDERS If your delivery time is critical and you did not indicate this in the “Special Instructions” field when you placing your order, please contact us as soon as possible by phone or e-mail. Expedited shipping methods are available (UPS Next Day Air, Second Day Air, Three Day, USPS Express Mail) for an additional cost. We are a small company. It is fairly easy for us to meet your expectations/requirements if you let us know. |

RETURNS If you are not happy with any item purchased from us, package it well and return it within 15 days of receipt for a prompt refund, exchange, charge card credit or JNB credit. We do NOT give you credit for shipping, unless the item was sent mistakenly. You do not need prior approval to return books or unused/unopened supplies. Let us know if you want JNB credit or refund/charge card refund. We will process your return with the same promptness that we process your order. Send a copy of our invoice or the invoice number. Defective books may be returned within 3 months of delivery. Used pens, opened bottles of ink, etc, cannot be returned unless defective. If the item(s) didn't work, please contact us so we can make it right by replacing or refunding. Pack your returns in a stiff cardboard box or in a padded mailing envelope with a sheet of cardboard that extends 1" around the book on all sides. |

DAMAGED SHIPMENTS For orders shipped via United Parcel Service, please notify us so we can send a replacement and file a claim with UPS. You must save the damaged merchandise and all the packaging material. For US Mail shipments, contact us and we will send you a replacement. We will let you know what to do with the damaged merchandise. If it was insured, you will have to file a claim with your local post office. |
