very helpful tool
Posted By: Corinna Taylor
Comments:
At my day job I have to write with Winsor & Newton gold ink. It seems I spent half my time stirring. This mixer saves all that time and allows for more consistency in the ink. It's very easy to knock the jar of ink off, so I stick it on with double-stick tape.

What a jewel...

Comments:
I treated myself to this electric mixer because I'd tried to go the (comparatively) cheaper route with a battery- operated one. Too much trouble! Not powerful enough, still had to stir. This one stays right there, plugged in and ready to go. The double-sided tape suggestion is a good one- the jar does tend to dance around- but that's definitely NOT a deal breaker! My only personal issue is that to do its job the platform requires full contact with the bottom of your jar; that and accommodating the large size of the magnet "capsule" ruled out some of my favorite little pots. So what... I still love it!
