I133. Golden Fluid Acrylic. 1oz.

Highly intense, permanent acrylic colors with a consistency similar to heavy cream, thicker than Golden High Flow Acrylics. Produced from lightfast pigments, not dyes, they offer very strong colors with very thin consistencies. No fillers or extenders are added, and the pigment load is comparable to Golden Heavy Body Acrylics. Fluid Acrylics are ideal for spraying, brushing, staining, and can be mixed with other Golden Products. 1oz (30ml) plastic squeeze bottle.

I136-S. Golden High Flow Acrylics Set of 10 Colors
I136-S. Golden High Flow Acrylics Set of 10.

Calligraphers are giving this new line of liquid acrylics high marks for use in pen or brush. It is densely pigmented and flows well. It has an ink-like consistency that works for fine lines and broad strokes. (Scribes who use the Golden version have said it is much better than Liquitex Liquid Acrylics!) Recommended for markers and air brush and techniques such as staining effects, leveling colors, and mixed media.

This set of 10 contains the following colors: Hansa Yellow Medium, Nickel Azo Gold, Naphthol Red Light, Quin. Magenta, Ultramarine, Phthalo Blue, Phthalo Green, Burnt Sienna, Carbon Black, and Titanium White

To turn the bottle into a "pen", please see our FineLine Applicator, item S936.

BR26. W&N Sceptre Gold 101 Brush
W&N Sceptre Gold 101 Brush, Round, Short Handle

For fine detail, lines & washes. A traditional and popular head shape for all-purpose watercolor work. Can be used for broad strokes yet it will also form a sharp point. They possess excellent color holding capacity, sensitivity, spring and durability. Recommended by Michael Sull.

High quality brushes made from a mix of sable and synthetic fibres. They are ideal for watercolor and suitable for use with acrylic. For watercolor media, while today's synthetic brushes perform excellently, pure sable still has the edge. With a blend you can get performance that is close to sable at a price that is close to synthetic. The blend of hair in Sceptre Gold II also gives you added benefits. Sable hair has excellent spring while the high-quality synthetic filaments ensure that the brushes are soft enough to work the color but also have a strong snap so they return back to their original shape with ease. The high proportion of sable in Sceptre Gold II gives the brushes considerably more ability to make larger washes in one stroke than normal synthetic brushes, and the hairs are tapered to a fine point, giving the brush control for detailed work.

N30. Folded Ruling Pen
Folded Ruling Pen

Introduced at Letterforum in 1995, this innovative lettering tool has been popular ever since. Use it to produce tight "brush lettering" with a pen or for wild, fun, expressive lettering. These are the originals made by Matthew Coffin and highly praised by Carl Rohrs and Peter Thornton as superior to others that are available.

Peter Thornton has his students use our Polishing Paper (S107) to lightly abrade the outer and inner surfaces of the Folded Pen. This allows the ink to spread out on the pen instead of beading up.
