Enhance your Calligraphy with Stencils - 1TW1
Tonnie Wolfe
All levels
From paper to jewelry, stencils are an easy way to add color, texture, and depth to a surface. In this loosely structured class, you will experiment on the surface of your choice using the wide array of stencils currently on the market. You will have the opportunity to create original stencils choosing from a wide variety of methods and materials.
Large sheet of plastic or a green garbage sack that can be cut open to protect the work surface and can be used to take wet work home, X-acto knife (S417) and cutting mat (S504), small sharp scissors (S835), surfaces of choice (small pieces of paper, fabric , canvas, etc.), color media of choice (acrylic suggested; limited palette of 1-2 analogous colors and one contrasting color), water container for brushes (S784), one small stiff, flat brush (BR24), hydrophilic sponges (i.e., make-up sponges), fine inexpensive permanent marker (Sharpie), sketching paper and pencils. Optional: gloves, decorative paper punches, stencil burner and heat-resistant surface. ($0)

S417. Excel Deluxe Knife (NonSlip)
Excel Deluxe Knife

It's time to upgrade. This American-made knife has a soft handle, a no-roll feature, much sharper blades, and best of all its PURPLE (or Black, Blue, Red). It's no more expensive than X-Acto's basic knife! Safety Cap, #11 Blade.
