Roman capitals appear about the 7th century BCE. They are the Mother form of Western letters. These beautiful letters were written with a flat brush on stone before being incised with a hammer and chisel. Learning their structure will increase your understanding and skill of our alphabets.

Foundation brush class is a prerequisite.
