The Acanthus leaves are one of the most common plant forms to make foliage ornament and decoration in calligraphy. They add fluidity and movement to initials, borders and backgrounds. The students will learn to draw and paint them with its twists and turns and also to compose them in their designs.


3 sessions, 2.5 hours each on Thursdays: June 10, June 17, June 24

    • Watercolor brushes, Round pointed # 0 ,1, 3, 6 or closer numbers. (BR30)

    • Red, Deep Blue, Yellow and Black. Any good quality, preferred brands (Winsor & Newton, Holbein)
    • White and Gold Gouache. (WNG1)
  1. A palette or a white china plate to mix colors. (S679)

  3. Tombow MONO Zero Pen-Style Eraser. (E22)
