  • Notebook (if you wish to take notes in class)
  • Micron pens (such as Sakura Pigma, Zig, Staedtler, etc.--whatever are your favorites in black in 005, 01, and 08 sizes; I usually prefer the Sakura Pigma) (M17)
  • Ruler (metal cork-backed, 6 or 12") (S270)
  • Bone folder (tool used to fold paper) (S308)
  • Xacto knife and #11 blades (S417, S130)
  • Cutting surface (scrap of matboard or self-healing mat, about 9x12"ish in size) (S504)
  • Pencil, pencil sharpener, and eraser (PL38, PL13, E13)
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick (such as UHU brand--my favorite) (S391)
  • Rubber cement pick-up (such as Best-Test, to pick up glue stick remnants) (S199)
  • Scrap paper (such as 8 1/2x11" used xerox or computer paper, for gluing backup--10 or 15 sheets)
  • Water dish (such as an empty well-washed yogurt cup or similar) (S1005)
  • Watercolor pencils (I'll bring plenty to share if you don't have these)
  • Small, flat brush (I'll also bring these to share if you don't have one) (BR60)
  • Triangle (can be small, 12" or under, 30-60 or 45 degree) (S613)
  • Rag and baby wipes

Optional items to bring (don't bog yourself down, but you may want some of these)
  • Micron pens in other colors and sizes (M18) (M133)
  • Other favorite pointed pens (M134)
  • A couple tubes of watercolor or gouache (WNG1 WNG2 WNG3 WNG4, WNWC1, WNWC2, WNWC3, WNWC4)
  • Dishes and mixing brushes for items above (S679, BR43)
  • Slant board (if that's how you want to write) (S690)
  • Cushion or pillow for chair

  • A few SMALL rubber stamps and a couple favorite pads
