This beautiful catalog of CLAS’s Living Letters IV exhibition features a juried selection of 96 works from nearly 60 scribes, including multiple works from Paul Eccles, Gaynor Goffe, Marlene Gray, David Harris, Dee Howley Gibbs, Lin Kerr, Susie Leiper, Linda Lewis, Patricia Lovett, Marion McKenzie, Janet Mehigan, Margaret Morgan, Timothy Noad, Mary Noble, Nancy Ouchida-Howells,Tom Perkins, Jan Pickett, Katharina Pieper, Alan Quincey, Jan Sambell, Cathy Staples, and Jan Turner. The works follow the title theme using gold leaf and color and/or text that refers to gold, the sun, light, and the like. There are both traditional and contemporary pieces and done with pens, brushes, and chisels.
