This pen comes with an empty cartridge for you to fill it with the non-waterproof ink of your preference. We tried walnut ink in the Fine Brush tip and it created stunning lines. You can chose between two tips, Fine Brush or Bristle Brush. Each pen includes two empty ink cartridges, an eyedropper for filling the cartridges, and two metal balls for sealing the cartridges after you fill them.

When it comes to filling your cartridge follow these simple instructions:

• Use the included eyedropper to draw up ink of of your choice.
• Squeeze the ink into a small opening on one of your empty cartridges.
• Use one metal ball to seal off the opening.
• Push the cartridge into the pen body.
• Time to create!
