Tria Inkwell

Item Code: S1137

S1137. Tria Inkwell

These beautiful inkwells are also practical. They are designed to make dipping your calligraphy nib in ink both easy and spill-proof. The triangle has 4.25" sides and is 1" high, and is made of Tzalam wood from southern Mexico, which is at times called Aztec Walnut. The wood has a light wax finish that resists water.

They are made from reclaimed wood, so wood color will vary. The 1/2 oz, plastic jars are 28mm (dia) x 25mm (high), and are Jumbo Dinky Dips with black lids. From Kous Designs.

Hello, I received my order from you today. Everything was well-packed and intact. I am thrilled to have discovered John Neal Books but I was very disappointed in the quality of the Tria Inkwell. The drilled hole was poorly and unevenly drilled, thus the inkwell does not sit properly, it wobbles. I am not going to send it back because we tried to fix it by sandpapering the sides and bottom to make for a better fit. But I wanted you to know that this is a poor quality product with poor workmanship and is certainly not worth $18.
Owner Response: We are sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the inkwell. We wish that you'd given us ample time to help resolve the issue. A refund has been issued for the inkwell. This is the first complaint that we have had regarding it. Some people will use a small piece of kneaded eraser to help keep their jar in a more stable position for other ink wells as needed.
