This special ink was developed by acclaimed penman Brian Walker, He modified a 19th-century formula to achieve a smooth and satisfying ink iron gall ink, an ink that would also meet conservation standards. Originally made for his own use, many other penman have found it equally pleasing to use for Spencerian Script, Copperplate, and Ornamental Penmanship. Only small quantities are made at a time to ensure its superb writing qualities.

Love it in the pointed pen
After a recommendation by a fellow scribe, I bought Walker's Copperplate iron gall ink. I fell in love with it the first time I used it. It's so magical what happens when the ink dries. I like it better than the Sumi ink I was using.
