  A: Hello! The ring is meant for repeat use. It slides onto the nib you prefer to use. Given that it is holding ink it should have a long life.

  A: Yes! The design allows it to slide on to any pointed nib you'd like to use. As each one is hand made, if you find that the tip of the coil is too long, it can be carefully trimmed.
