  A: This Envelope ruler won't work well on a white envelope. The marking are printed in white so they will show up on dark envelopes and would visually disappear when placed over a white envelope. S1117 Quickliner Envelope Addressing Guide will work on white envelopes. If you do a lot of white envelope addressing, a LightPad may be a good investment. You can slip a black-lined guide inside the envelop placed on the Light Pad. The guidelines will show through, and there are no lines to erase.
