A: The Zebra G Titanium Nib has flex and can work for pointed pen scripts. It has a lot of flex compared to regular fountain pen nibs, but the contrast between thicks & thins not the same as with with Brause 66EF, Hunt 101, Gillott 303 dip pen nibs.

Q: Please clarify what type of ink filling mechanism this pen uses I.e, does it use a removable piston converter or does it have an integral piston similar to a Pelikan fountain pen?

Q: Hello, I have heard that the Zebra G nibs need to be replaced over time due to rusting or corrosion. Is that correct and if so, what is suggested replacement interval? Thank you!

A: The Zebra G nibs need to be replaced when the tip begins to feel scratchy and won't produce your usual lettering. This will depend on how much you use your pen, how much pressure you apply, and how smooth the paper is. Zebra G Titanium nibs last a long time compared to dip pens like Gillott 303 or Hunt 101, which wear out much more quickly.
