Gabriela Soba

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1973, I have resided in Barcelona, Spain, since 2001.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from the University of Buenos Aires, a
postgraduate qualification in Typography and have studied Art History at the University of Buenos Aires. I moved to Barcelona, Spain in 2001

Established Typo, a creative space for Calligraphy and book arts in Barcelona.
Invited international calligraphers to lead workshops and masterclasses.
Teach calligraphy and bookbinding classes in various European cities and online platforms such as

CalligraphyItalia (Italy), IAMPETH (USA), Portland Society for Calligraphy (USA), RoballosNaab (Argentina) and The Gentle Penman (Hong Kong, China).
