"I love that the issues are now all in color. I think this latest Bound & Lettered issue (Vol 11, Num 2)is the best I have ever seen from you. This time there were so many good and helpful techniques shown. I also loved the link to find out more about the letter-a-week group-- their population might just explode after your article. I might even try that system on my own, since I am good for one letter at a time." B.A.F, Ohio.
"I just received my copy of Bound & Lettered and it looks terrific. The magazine has become better with every issue (increasingly so!), and I hope you have received many compliments." T.M., Palm Coast, FL.

Need something new to inspire you? Bound & Lettered provides practical information on bookbinding, calligraphy, artists' books, and papercraft. You will find each issue filled with wonderful ideas & projects. This quarterly publication features how-to articles with step-by-step instructions and illustrations, artist galleries featuring the works of accomplished calligraphers & books artists, useful articles on tools & materials and book & exhibit reviews.

Bound & Lettered was originally founded by Shereen LaPlantz, author of Cover to Cover and The Art & Craft of Handmade Books. Shereen created the magazine to serve as a source of inspiration and information for book artists. When she later became ill with cancer John Neal, Bookseller agreed to continue to publish her magazine. Shereen has since passed away, but we have continued to carry on her legacy -- helping our readers in their creative explorations.
