The rich and intense colors of Gansai Tambi are handcrafted, professional-quality pigment inks. These fine-caliber watercolors are highly blendable, with a creamy-smooth consistency found only in traditional Japan. The Graphite Colors Set is a tuned palette of dark, muted colors with a unique matte texture similar to graphite. Once dry, the surface of the paint can be polished to reveal a metallic luster.
Includes one each of the following colors: Graphite Blue 260, Graphite Brown 270, Graphite Green 250, Graphite Red 230, Graphite Violet 261, and Graphite Yellow 240.

Gansai Tambi Watercolors - Graphite Colors
Well, I thought I'd try these. I got two of these by mistake! But I'm not sorry. I love creating blooms in watercolor. The blooms created with the graphite colors are unparalleled! Probably because of the granulation in them? The blooms are not as nice on the regular colors. I mean they are still nice, but even nicer with the graphite colors! they will make wonderful fantasy night skies and backgrounds! True love!

Not My Usual
Not what I naturally gravitate to, but these colors seem so beautiful to me. That and the paints are such a pleasure to work with, that I've been reaching for them more often than not.
