P58. Black Artagain Drawing Paper Pad. From Strathmore, 24 sheets.

Ideally suited for soft pastels and charcoal, also very popular for pointed pen. Use gel roller pens, metallic gouache or opaque white ink for dramatic effects. Acid-free, medium weight (60lb, 160gsm), and fairly smooth. Made with 30% post-consumer fiber. Judy Melvin recommends this paper for her "Bleach & Pastels" technique described in Art Expose (B3044). Unlike the current Arches Cover Black, this paper bleaches to light color.
