Gansai Tambi Watercolor Empty Case

I just love these empty cases! It's so helpful to have these separate cases that hold 6 different color pans. I can choose one or two cases with colors that I'm using and leave the rest. They are stackable so don't take up too much space. I stick my pans in with a small dot of mounting putty. Then I carefully peel off the adhesive label and cut out the name of the color and stick it onto the case above the color. Then I apply a thin layer of clear varithane varnish (purchased for use with polymer clay) with a brush, let it dry, and apply more varnish. This way, if the label gets wet, it won't get ruined. The cases also allow me to arrange the colors as I wish. I do this counterintuitively sometimes, not the way colors would be arranged if they came in a set from the manufacturer. Just love the cases! And they're free!
