This ink produces an incredibly matte black with excellent coverage. Designed for cartoonist work, Kuretakes Super Black resists lifting, allowing users to erase underlying marks without affecting the opacity or color of the ink. Waterproof and safe to use with alcohol-based inks and markers. Great with pointed nibs, broad-edge pens, and brushes.

    I wanted to try this ink because I have tried two others by Kuretake and needed a good solid black. This ink exceeded expectations. Great for inking and painting over with watercolor since it’s waterproof after it dries. I’ll be ordering more in the future
