Amazing for pointed pen calligraphy!
Discovered these pads like 20 years ago and I still use them. Even with my catchy on the upstroke vintage extra fine flex nibs. The papers are substantial and buttery smooth. Of note, they're not white; more of a warm cream-looks fabulous with every warm color fountain pen, walnut, calligraphy and sumi ink I've tried. Never had ghosting, bleeding or feathering. They are not cheap but are worth every penny.
