23K XXX Deep Gold (Patent) - 18g - 3-3/8

S940. 23 K Gold Leaf (Patent) XXX Book 25 sheets 3-3/8 "x 3-3/8"

This is a slightly thicker version of gold leaf. You might find that our standard gold leaf (S189) requires more than one layer of gold - but this gold is thicker and should cover in one layer. W&B brand. Patent leaf comes adhered to a backing sheet. It is much easier to use than loose gold leaf, especially with Instacoll and similar products. It can be cut with scissors and then handled with tweezers. Both tweezers and scissors should be kept very clean.

Here are Rosemary Buczek's comments: "I have been using W&B's gold, and I have come to prefer their XXX. I used double deep (XX) for years but switched to the triple to see what it was like. I will never go back to the double (XX)."
