With an oblique or straight pointed pen, watercolors/gouache, inks, iridescents, and a fine brush, incorporate all the mysterious textures and color combos of feathers with strokes and washes of colors. Some light lettering and flourishes will also be incorporated. An extensive library of my own collection of feathers will be used for reference. Here's the updated class schedule:

Supply List:
- Light pencil / eraser for sketching (PL38, PL21)
- Transparent or translucent paper for sketches (P112, P32)
- Heavy text or cover weight paper suitable for your fave pointed pen and a bit of water- how much paper texture/tooth is entirely your preference and how fine a nib you are using. (PS01, PS111)
- White/Ivory sheets (something akin to Arches HP (smooth surface/watercolor paper) (PS47)
- Colors sheets (my fave is Colorplan paper 135gsm). Also suitable is Daler Rowney Murano Pastel paper (98lb/160gsm) Strathmore Artagain Assorted Color Pad (P84)
Paint:
- Watercolor and/or gouache pan sets to load your nib. (You can also use waterbased gouache dip paints.) (S3041, CG05)
- Metallic inks (dip or pans) to incorporate sheen into your feathers (S1000, I16)
Brushes:
1 - Fine paintbrush (my fave is a Pentel water brush in fine) (FP93-Fine) and
2 - A brush to load your nib (short flat hog bristle in size 1 is my fave) (BR02)
Misc.:
- Paper towels
