White on White with Watercolor with Marilyn Garber

Friday, October 17, 2025
9am – 4pm

It’s not as difficult as you might think. Painting a white subject on a white background is a study of color. Creating form is accomplished by observing and then laying down very subtle primary colors with an emphasis on values. Patience is key as each transparent layer must dry before applying the next. We will attempt to avoid the color gray! Our class subject will be a small white pumpkin-shaped gourd with stem. The techniques you learn can be applied to any white subject in your future works.
