A great paper for broad-edged pen practice. Has a nice tooth and holds good hairlines. Acid-free. Also available as pads: items P69 and P70

"I tested many similar papers using a variety of wet media and writing tools to find a replacement for Gilbert Bond. There was no bleeding, feathering, or soaking through the paper with any of the wet media (gouache, sumi, watercolor, Higgins Eternal, and Pilot Parallel Pen fountain pen ink). The paper has a surface with enough tooth for smooth writing with the metal pens and brushes tested and is thin enough to view guidelines from behind. Capitol Bond folds well and would be excellent for bookmaking projects plus I was able to blind emboss without concern of punching through the paper.
