Description

This 3-session workshop will take the students from basic free-form strokes to creating a variety of lovely expressive blooms suitable for greeting cards, books, or art projects. No matter your level of watercolour experience, this class will offer beginners the opportunity to explore a variety of techniques, as well as an expressive painting style for those more experienced to try. No need to paint within the lines in this workshop! Students will have the opportunity to do a few simple projects ie: booklet, an accordion book and even some fabulous abstract floral pieces using collage.

We will begin with a variety of brush strokes that form the basis of these loose florals. From petals to leaves and stems, students will experiment with both the round and flat brushes to achieve a variety of results. Each session will include several new blooms, along with elements of technique and design to enhance the florals.
