Description

In this workshop, we will learn three different styles of Art Deco lettering. For two of these styles, we will use different sizes of Speedball B-nibs and for the remaining style, we will use the Pilot Parallel Pen. The workshop includes a short presentation on the history of the Art Deco movement and study of the different elements of Art Deco design. We will do a small project using the new skills and scripts taught in the class. Each class will include live music that goes specifically with each lettering style. Classes are live on Zoom and will be recorded. The recordings will be available for three months after the last class session (until August 22, 2026).
