Great ink for nibs
I used this with the rhodia black paper and it really shines! The consistency of the gold is great.

Beautiful, not beginner friendly
This ink is true to its name in that it is brilliant. I'm using it to address the envelopes for my wedding invitations, which are a dark green. It is absolutely striking how it stands out against the green. The size of the bottle is great too--I won't be running out any time soon. The only downside to this ink is how troublesome it can be to use. The mica (at least I'm assuming its the mica) in the pigment clogs the channel of a nib pretty quickly, so I'm constantly having to clean it out after writing a few lines. It's tedious, but it is worth the effort. India Ink/Bombay makes a gold ink that is a little easier to work with, but it is no where near as stunning.
