In this 3-week online series, participants will learn to draw and paint flowering plants found in borders in the illuminated folios of Indo-Persian paintings. Follow in the footsteps of Mughal-era artists who decorated these lavish borders with naturalistic blossoms, painted in gold and opaque watercolors. Their floral compositions reflected the Mughals’ deep interest in gardens and flowering plants. Class will be held twice a week on Thursdays and Fridays.
