No better book on Copperplate
There is no better book on the subject than Eleanor Winters' Mastering Copperplate Calligraphy: A Step by Step Manual. She offers the student with little (or no) experience in calligraphy a vast foundation, including the history, valuable tips on practicing, what tools are needed, clear exemplars, etc. Along with thousands of my peers, I will always recommend Ms. Winters comprehensive manual as the Copperplate Bible.

This book is heaven!!
Every single step is explained in an easy and understandable way, and the book also provides a very complete resource about the copperplate calligraphy style in general. I have been using this book for a couple of months and, after following each advice given, I have noticed improvement on my calligraphy. I heartily recommend this book to any calligraphy beginner or even to an expert calligrapher that wants to learn and immerse in the copperplate style of writing I find so beautiful.
