These offset nibs allows you to write copperplate with a straight (not oblique) holder. These have a larger base than most nibs. Mitchell 0742F.

Mitchell Elbow Nib
This is a very stiff nib with almost no flex. Forget swells. I wish it were like, say the Hunt 101. I do like that it goes into a straight holder.
