Create a beautifully detailed majuscule "M" in this Live online paint-along with Risa Gettler! The pattern for this project is provided so participants can jump into tracing or printing the pattern on to good paper, then painting the pattern using gouache or colored pencil and mica-based paint. Gilding in gold leaf is optional, as no gilding techniques will be covered in this class. For those who wish to gild, please gild your letter prior to class time. This project is perfect for Mom (or someone with the "M" initial). An extra bonus pattern included with this 4-hour session. No lettering experience necessary. Access to recorded videos does not expire.

Brushes: Must be round and pointed.
Cardboard backing & Tape for mounting project paper to while you work.
Project Paper*: PA03. Arches Text Wove 8.5" x 11"
Pigments: Assorted Gouache colors
Water Container & Paper Towel for rinsing brushes and catching drips.
Laser Toner Printer - must accommodate project paper choice. Ink Jet (dye-based) printers will react with water media, smears and is NOT Recommended.
Printing Alternative - Take the supplied pattern and project paper to a self-service toner-based printer/copier at a local office supply store to print the pattern directly on to your paper choice.
Optional but Handy: S4103. Hands free magnifiers
