Introducing the Ukanmuri Clip, winner of Japan's 2024 Stationery Award Idea Prize. Most book clips press flat across the pages or clamp awkwardly on the spine. The Ukanmuri takes a different approach; its clothes hanger-like shape wraps around the spine without pressing on it, holding pages open from both sides while keeping the binding safe.
The wide 8cm opening handles everything from slim notebooks to thick cookbooks and the curved handles open easily with minimal pressure.
The Clear colorway series adds a frosted, translucent finish inspired by the shifting colors of the day from dawn to dusk. But it’s for more than just looks––the sheer material keeps text visible underneath and feels lighter and less obstructive on the page than a solid clip.
