S799-S7. Univers Lettercarving Chisel Set.

This 8-piece set includes seven 2-star (**) Tungsten Carbide Tipped (TCT) Letter cutting Chisels: 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, & 20 mm, plus a TCT Scribe. Comes in a soft canvas tool roll for easy and safe storage (the canvas is now white, not gray as in the photo). The tool roll has three small hoops for hanging while open and a blue tie to secure the roll for storage or travel. These are Univers** Hard &Tough Carbide. These are the letter cutting chisels recommended by Tom Perkins for his letter carving workshop at Cheerio. For marble, slate, and similar stone (not suitable for granite).

    These are by far the best letting chisels available in the USA. I own a half dozen different types and these blow all of them away. The thin tip style allows for much more accurate lettering and facilitate greater cutting angles with the wider chisels. You will not be disappointed!
