Yasutomo Multi-Media Mineral Paper Pad, 11 x 14

Mineral Paper is made from 80% calcium carbonate and a small amount of HDPE binder, creating a durable, versatile surface for both dry and wet media. It resists tearing, folding, and wrinkling, and it prevents color from bleeding through—even when saturated. The surface is smooth with a vellum-like feel and has enough tooth to handle a wide range of materials.

Ideal for silverpoint, alcohol inks, watercolors, colored pencils, graphite, acrylic, and pan pastels. Also excellent for embossing and debossing, varnish and glue applications, and inkjet printing (results vary by printer). Because it accepts silverpoint without the need for gesso, it offers an accessible option for artists working in that medium.
