Description

I28. Ziller Ink. Glass jars. 1oz.

Pigmented, lightfast, waterproof (acrylic) for dip pens (pointed and broad edge) and brushes. Stir well before using. Dip nib or brush in ink, wipe off excess ink on jar edge or shake pen. Thin ink with distilled water. Intermixable to create other colors. Clean up pen with Ziller Pen Cleaner, which is specially formulated for pigmented, acrylic inks and has better success than other pen cleaners.

"I LOVE the new Ziller inks, pink and grey. I am especially happy to have the grey ink as I am doing a lot in graphite now and needed a grey ink to "match" the artwork." --Bonnie Noehr

    Best ink for envelope writing

Ziller ink writes beautifully, mixes for custom colors, when dry it's smudge-proof/waterproof.

    Only Ziller Works!

Posted by June on Oct 4th 2021

When I have coated envelopes with a metallic/pearlescent sheen to address, I find Ziller Glossy Black really works on this surface. Higgins and Calli inks do not work on this surface at all, often drying to a faded gray

    Azure Blue is amazing!

Posted by Roxanne on Feb 27th 2020

As a total beginner to pointed pen calligraphy, Ziller Azure Blue was the first ink I bought, other than my practice Sumi ink. It is amazing! First, I love the nice short square bottle. More importantly, it's super easy to use -- it flows beautifully, and I find it easier to control the flow of it than Sumi ink. The Ziller is my favorite to practice with. I want all the colors! It's super pigmented and even looks fantastic on black paper.
