While learning to create beautiful writing with the broad-nib Pilot Parallel Pen, we will also be cultivating a peaceful practice that has brought equanimity and calm to calligraphers throughout the ages. The rhythmic movement of the pen on paper can become a moving meditation. Topics include spacing and the importance of negative space, plus an overview of the historical context of the Uncial hand.
