Description

Heather Martinez
Aspens for All Seasons

Aspen trees are a great source of inspiration any time of year. In this session, Heather teaches a simple technique to draw Aspen trees, then several ways to letter and embellish around the Aspens for the many seasons and holidays you celebrate.

Paper:

  • P122. Postcards – any brand. I like Hahnemuhle. Any 250gsm or greater watercolor paper cut down will do.
  • P101, P2010. Mixed-media papers in white, black or toned. I like Strathmore. Cut down the stock to fit into common size envelopes. Remember to score before folding.
  • Envelopes – A2 and A6 are common sizes.
  • Unique handmade papers – I like receiving Paper Pastiche from The Paper Connection. They have a monthly subscription service.
