Description

There is something magical about Copperplate. The delicate swell of a downstroke.
The whisper of an upstroke.
The rhythm of letters flowing into one another. But beautiful Copperplate doesn’t happen by accident. It comes from understanding the relationship between pressure, movement, rhythm, and slant—and from learning to feel those things in your own hand. This October, we’re delighted to welcome Nina Tran for a two-part live Zoom workshop devoted to developing a more confident and expressive Copperplate hand. Nina is a rising star in the calligraphic world and was recently featured in the 26th edition of the Speedball Textbook.
