S449. Walnut Ink Crystals. Non-waterproof.
Each size comes in a plastic jar for easier distribution.
Dissolve 1 teaspoon crystals in 1/2 cup distilled water, wait for 25-35 minutes, and then you will have a warm, rich walnut ink. The ink is lightfast, flows well and is highly recommended by many master scribes. Makes a wonderful brown or sepia ink for calligraphy, drawing, washes or antiquing paper. Made from walnut hulls.
Beautiful color. I had never used walnut ink before and it seems a little watery Perhaps using a little less water.
This is my go-to ink for Spencerian script and copperplate script practice.
