Bubbled Letters have been a popular way of handlettering for school students and children for many decades.

This font requires no special tools and is charcterised by it's puffy, bulbous and whimsical look. In this workshop we will look back at this much-loved and sentimental lettering style with a mature and modern feel.

Over 3 lessons, you'll learn how to turn a sans-serif Roman alphabet into a beautiful bubbled font with embellishments such as; shading, highlighting, colouring techniques and assorted decorative elements. Learn also how to go from spaced letters to a compressed/overlapped style, with and without bouncing elements.

Join Tom for a fun look at this simple and playful lettering style that you can easily pass onto your friends, kids and grand-kids.
